Board Update

Welcome Back Lynda. Today I did an update of the Forum Software (another is due soon), and shortly after Lynda reported that she could no longer access the Forum. Although it shouldn't have happened, it appears that the update removed the Theme that 2 of the 155 users were using to on the board. 151 people are using the default, so as a quick way of fixing the problem I deactivated all the other themes other than the default - this shouldn't affect 151 users at all, it has enabled Lynda to access the board, and I hope that if there were 3 other people who couldn't access before they now can.

If you know of anyone who can't access - ask them to try again!

Shame I've lost my lovely grey background. This violent blue will take some getting used to.

I'll get it sorted when I have more time, I just wanted to fix the problem a.s.a.p. - I wonder if it may be a reason why Dolly couldn't access? She never gave an error message (neither did you at first!).

You didn't ask what error message I got.

Don't know if it's anything to do with the update but I can no longer see the Logo in the top left corner just the phpBB Creating Communities logo.

I'm also getting a blank square with a little red cross in the corner where people's avatars used to be and some smilies are showing as dots or commas.

Everything was fine yesterday.

Blerdy admin, always changing things and messing it all up.

I'm one upgrade behind - we were on 4 when things worked, I upgraded to 5 & am waiting for 6 to be available (it's been released, but my host hasn't made it available yet). I'll have to make a decision - do I restore us to 4 or plough on to 6 and fix the problems?
