Board Update

There were a number of reports of smilies & Avatars missing, in fact having lost my smilies and Avatars earlier like everyone else, they are now back, and I'm not having any problems.

Can anyone having problems let me know & I'll try and work out what is happening.

I'm ok as long as I don't try to post. I can navigate the forum easily if I just want to read but each time I post it just stays there as if it's waiting to appear as a post and eventually I have to exit the forum completely and re-enter. That's not always easy either.

Smilies are back and some avatars.

Other avatars are still missing (I can see Linda's but not Nick's) and the phpBB logo is still there instead of the PF logo.

I can see my Avatar. I'm still scratching my head about what's causing this.

It's getting harder trying to post so this will be my last one for a while. It's just too much hassle at the moment.

I don't know where we are going with this, but one possibility is to restore back. With this in mind I suggest that you all hold off with any changes to Avatars, signatures, profiles, as these will be lost in any restore.

The Host have asked how they can reproduce the errors that we are experiencing, so I have invited them to this thread for information of the problems.

My Smilies and Avatars have disappeared again today. I can see the 1st 24 of the default smilies, but none thereafter (42 default smilies & none of the added ones).

I am creating an Admin ID for the host so that they can investigate our problems more fully.

The Host will be using this ID to try to replicate our board problems
