If Spurs are going to cement their place as a top team you need to get with the Banter!

And City pipped the scum to 3rd place. Yippee!!!

I'm sad that Blackpool went down but happy that Wolves survived.

Most important of all Spurs managed 5th place ahead of Liverpool. :D

My betfair account just received a pile of money, mainly courtesy of bets on United to win, Chelsea to be 2nd & Man City to be 3rd & also "Best of the rest". Unfortunately at various points I had laid off some of the bets to ensure that I kept my stakes so it's not the triumph it could have been, but I look likely to end the season with £100 in the account, not bad given that I started 18 months ago with £25, but not as good as it could be given that my highest point was £220.

However ..... I do have £10 on Man U to with the CL at 10/1 - I can lay it at 15/8 should I :?:

I do also have £2 on Berbatov to be top scorer at 110/1 - I think that's a lost cause!

The twitter thing was weeks ago, so I suspect that he is too important, too liable to injury at his age.

You could back Barca to win

so £40 that would give you a £10 profit overall if they win and £60 if united win

It's only begun to make headlines in the past few days though.

Apparently, his name is to be leaked in the Spanish press later this week. I can't imagine what advantage they think that will give Barcelona.

I don't think that the allegations have anything to do with football decisions now - cos it's old news. the interesting bit left to come out is that she was hoping to make money out of the story & the injunction stopped her.

It's going to be strange for Birmingham playing in Europe from the Championship and I believe that Blackpool may be in the same position. They seem to be on equal points with Fulham in the Fair Play League.

I guess the more the boundaries between the premiership & the Championship are blurred the better things will be.

I can't help thinking how silly these super injunctions are. The truth nearly always comes out in the end and there is so much more fuss when they try to keep it under wraps.

Peter Crouch "played away" twice and it was reported in the media but only once and then it was over and people thought no more about it.

The only person who appears to have got away with it by taking out a super injunction is Steven Gerrard.

One difference here might be that Peter Crouch isn't married and doesn't have kids. You really do have to worry about children brought up in a world where mummy or daddy's every sexual peccadillo is the subject of universal interest.

I just think that everyone makes far more of an issue of it when injunctions are taken out. Best to let the secrets out and they fade from people's minds in a day or so.

It can't help the wronged wives/girlfriends if they are forever reading about it in the media. Much easier to put it all behind them and get on with their lives if it doesn't become headline news.
