Yes - & I had 2 transfers, I could have done them a few months ago when I couldn't pick a full team!

I'm watching the results live on http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/footbal ... efault.stm

It's exciting, and the relegation battle has been all over the place.

Pleased for Wigan

Sad for Blackpool

Seriously worried about Birmingham, I think they will lose a very big chunk of the squad, and may struggle to get back

Yes - I think Blackpool will be a big loss to the league.

I don't really understand how Birmingham lost it - I would have expected Wigan and or Wolves to go down.

I'm not totally sure how I did so badly in the fantasy league. Initially I hadn't got the hang of having a squad of fit players, and that sometimes teams play twice in a week. I think overall I haven't picked decent players from poor teams.

Interesting

Scunthorpe in Championship can't get a decent loan player

Now in League 1 it looks like they may be getting Nicky Ajose from United !

Fear of injury?

Fear of the loan becoming permanent?

I took my eye off the proverbial this season and fear that I did quite badly.

In the real world, I've got high hopes for next season in the Championship. Hopefully my team (Leicester) will be right up there although I expect the favourites to be West Ham and Birmingham for automatic promotion.

Only just saw that post. Birmingham lost to Spurs because they just didn't bother to play. They were so sure they wouldn't go down and by the time they realised it was a real possibility it was too late.

I feel Birmingham will struggle

Forest I think will be thereabouts.

And sorry folks but I'm putting money on United finishing 3RD behind Chelsea and City :( ( just can't see us being strong enough )

and my bet at 2.38 on betfair for > 2.5 Goals in the CL final is currently looking good, can't see a blank second half

Looks like you won you goals bet comfortably!

Have you heard the rumours that man U. have a shed load of money to spend in the summer? Maybe it's wishful thinking but the rumour goes that the Ronaldo money is still on the table, and additionally thanks to a great CL run, & the Glaziers paying down the most expensive debt, the Red Football company has made a stonking profit, and all that money is available for players.

Goodness only knows that Barcelona demonstrated that we need a new & better midfield. The first team to make Giggs look 37.

£15 million of prize money from Premier League

of 2010–11,
UEFA awards €2.1 million to each team in the play-offs round.
For reaching the group stage, UEFA awards €3.9 million, plus €550,000 per group match played.
A win in the group is awarded €800,000 and a draw is worth €400,000.
In addition, UEFA pays teams reaching the first knockout round €3 million, each quarter finalist €3.3 million,
€4.2 million for each semi-finalist,
€5.6 million for the runners-up and €9 million for the winners.

so thats 7.1 million for being in group stages
Plus 4 million for group stage results
Plus 3 million for KO 1
plus 3.3 Million for QF
Plus 4.2 million for SF
Plus 5.6 for being in final

thats 27.2 Million euros or £25 million Quid

Plus TV money from Comps
