Premier League 2012/13

24 points clear of 5th 9 games to go even Nick has to admit it's pretty certain we are in the CL now

But Europa league now there's interesting

Swansea are in as Carling Cup winners

One for FA Cup Winners ( or more likely runners up as winner is likely to Make CL )

So that leaves only 1 place open this year for a PL "best loser"

Now My view on this is It's Likely to be Arsenal or Everton leaving Liverpool not in europe which apart from being a disater in money terms makes signing top players harder

I don't think there's much doubt who'll win the Premiership. I'm just wondering if Spurs will hold on to a top four place. If we play like we did on Thursday or against Liverpool I very much doubt it.

Interesting how grudge matches develop

Sunderland fans, having seen their side beaten by a Wayne Rooney goal on the final day, taunted United’s away support as their radios revealed the news that City were champions in the most unforgettable of finales.

The Reds were hurt by the reaction of the Wearside fans as they cheered City’s injury time triumph against QPR.

And they vowed to make the Black Cat fans suffer.

“When the final whistle went, we didn’t really know what the score at City was. But then we heard the Sunderland fans cheering,” Rooney said after the game.

“It was sad to see that because they should be supporting their own team really. They didn’t have the best of seasons so for them to be cheering like that was sad.

“It was something myself and a lot of the players won’t forget.”

Soon after, he penned the final chapter of his latest autobiography and that traumatic Stadium of Light memory was still haunting the England star.

Rooney said in his book: “I don’t know whether I will play the previous games before it, I just want to play against Sunderland.

“When the fixtures come out I look for three games – City, Liverpool and Everton. This time I checked the Sunderland game. If there is one team that I want to beat this season it will be Sunderland.”

No not going to the legends game, just Swansea and as a last minute bonus, very possibly Chelsea. It was a great video - I was really surprised at how skilled De Gea is with his feet. That could explain why he makes so many saves with his feet!

I was talking about football to my accountant last night (as you do) & he was predicting Bale will go abroad for Gazzilions. He reckons Levy is a very astute player trader, quoting the top $ he got for Berbatov, & Modrich - both good players, but not worldclass £30m players.

He's also made some very bad deals. Most Spurs fans hate him. He is a businessman and not a football man.
