Apparently we don't often get snow here, we live in a little warm pocket, so far we've only seen snow twice and then you have to go up the hills to find it.
I confess I stayed indoors and left Jaimie to it on this day.

We found this bench hidden on the hills, a great place to sit and watch the sunset overlooking the Loch and it will be our spot for the Aurora watch 8-)

We went to Ronachan Monday evening, it's only a few miles from us.
Ronachan means place of the Seals, and sure enough we saw one :D
Image

Valentines day we followed the Knapdale road down to Loch Stornoway, and found these..

But we really don't need to travel, this is right on our doorstep :D

Enough day dreaming, I must get some work done now! :? :D

Ronachan is a great place for fun and enjoyment. These type of places are very good for entertainment. By the way very nice pictures, I like sunset seen too.

Our backboiler made some funny noises when the power went off! We had to run the hot water every few hours to stop it boiling, the kitchen was like a sauna

It would have stopped the pump running and circulating the heat away from the boiler, so would have started boiling in the pipes hence by running hot water off the heat gets dissipated by heating up the cold water filling uo the hw cylinder, simples :)
