Who can believe that these photos were saved from a skip in central London? The offices of one of the original contractors decided to have a "clear-out" and a great many boxes of old paperwork from throughout the firms history were simply dumped.

Yes, great that they were saved - fancy not having the common sense to check whether any museums or other archives would have wanted them before dumping :? :roll: I'm sure a donation would have been good free publicity for the company too!
