Pigeons Keeping London Tidy

I think we should take our hats off to them; pigeons aren't as bad as people make out ...

I have nothing against pigeons in particular. I just hate all birds - even budgies.

I thought it was funny! :D
I used to love feeding the pigeons at Trafalgar Square when I was little.... ahh the summers when we could paddle in the fountains, we had so much fun before 'Health & Safety!

Same Don! I have a black & white photo on my wall of my sister and I at Trafalgar Square with my grandparents, must be about 1975, surrounded by pigeons. My grandparents look so stylish! I don't remember it, but it reminds me of lots of fun memories.

:D do you remember the old man who always had his arms outstretched and full of birds?
I thought he was great.... he was probably the one selling the food

Reminds me of the very old lady at Greenwich Park, she would go in there with her sholley full of Peanuts, and the squirrels would all come running to her, so lovely to see!

I'm sure the council don't agree though :naughty:

last time I saw her was about 8 years ago, I hope she's still there :?
If anyone sees her, let me know! :D

Hi, This is Bradle from USA and I have spent 4 years in London, and i think birds or pigeons increase the beauty of any city and pigeons are the sign of peace< so why should we hate them?

I didn't realise pigeons were a sign of peace. I thought that was doves.

Pigeons are such sweet birds. Look like totally harmless. Innocent birds they are.
