How Much Does It Cost?

Postby Nick » Tue Apr 30, 2013 6:38 pm

I am so pissed off with the current fashion of software companies to hide their charges! Very often I am in the market for software, but have a budget & I don't want to spend time researching the facilities of something that I can't afford, so the first thing I want to know is what it will cost. So often that is the last thing a company will tell you, sometimes the only way to find the price is to sign up ......

Does anyone else find this marketing strategy annoying and stupid?

I found that with Property Sourcing. People seem generally attracted to the bright lights and promises of something for nothing. Once they are tied into a binding agreement to get less than what they anticipated, the 'norm' is to pay up, albeit reluctantly. Meanwhile 'fair and honest' is still trying to get decent customers/clients.

I supposes the moral defence to many is Caveat Emptor?
