When I was a student I was always losing my keys, so all my life in all my homes I have always put a hook somewhere where my keys are kept. If they aren't put there, I am stuffed.

You don't need a Tile for your mobile Steve - you just ring it! Or else use this mobile phone tracker, try it with Jan's number.

The tiles are quite expensive, $18 - you'd only protect expensive items. However the feature where they all "gang up" and report the whereabouts of (say) a stolen bike is really nifty. I can see computer, TV, car, (& mobile phone), & motorbike manufacturers building them into their products. With those sorts of volumes the unit cost will plummet & we will all have them. Integrated into wallets & handbags, shoes .....

I never lose keys or glasses only important things that don't really have a right place to be put in. These things are always put in a safe place but I can never remember where that safe place is.

The upside is that I usually find them when I'm looking for the next mislaid item - although I don't usually find the item I'm looking for at the time.

I put that down to old age.
